Health Care Is Local

Think about how you go about obtaining health care... perhaps you need an orthopedic for a troublesome knee, or an extended care facility for Mom, or a recommendation for your pregnant daughter-in-law. You seek out people you know for advice. You might check out the yellow pages or try to google doctors in your area.  If you have a local doctor, you call his office for a referral. It always seems like an impersonal and difficult search.  If you're out of town, it's nearly impossible.

Health care is local. Medical practitioners, therapies, and equipment are local.  Yet there is no easy, thorough, and accurate way of finding what you need. Until now.

CareSeek is creating an internet-based "health care mall" for localities across the United States. The advertisers in this mall range from larger entities such as hospitals and HMOs, to smaller clinics and medical practices to doctors and on down to therapists and medical equipment suppliers. Each of them receives both a set amount of "space" for their message AND participation in articles, lists, and discussions. CareSeek creates an independent medium for the delivery of local health care information, assuring the most useful, complete, and accurate offering of health care products and services available in a given locale.
